Congressional Ilhan Omar recently Mocked Vice President Mike Pence for praying to Jesus Christ on twitter. Suggesting that he should let Jesus take the wheel and drive his car into a wall.
This open bigotry would immediately be denounced if someone had criticized her religion of course, but since it is a Democrat mocking a Christian somehow that king of bigotry is deemed to be acceptable and is even liked by thousands of Americans. So here we are with the double standard that Islamophobia is bad but AntiChristian and AntiSemitic behavior is bad. I mention antisemitism because the Congresswoman has also openly mocked jews and Israel on her twitter account. Again thousands of bigots liked her comments and gave their rubber stamp of approval to this double standard.
Not everyone feels like the Congresswoman's behavior on social media is acceptable though. Many denounced her behavior.
Even some twitter followers that are also followers of Islam criticized her behavior.
As Rachel mentioned in her post Ilhan Omar would not appreciate her faith being mocked. In fact she has a history of loudly crying victim any time anyone criticizes her. It quick search on you tube will reveal many videos of her working the identity politics and crying victim.
She has also openly raised money for anti-Israel pursuits.

This all comes on the tale of the recent lifetime ban of Lara Loomer from Facebook and Twitter, an investigation journalist who was highly critical of Ilhan Omar's antisemitism and support of Sharia Law. Again we see a double standard in the way social media tech giants enforce their arbitrary rules. Hate speech from Democrats, look the other way. Any speech criticizing Democrats, even if it is legit, ban that person.
