CNN made several blatantly racist comment in reference to Kanye West. Not only did they use the N-word on live television but they made a number of hurtful comments about him as well. The episode of CNN Tonight with Don Lemon started a firestorm on social media with people calling the episode blatantly racist and over the top.
All of this because Kanye has been an outspoken supporter of President Trump and he has been encouraging African Americans to think for themselves.
Now I remember back in April of 2007 when Don Imus made an inappropriate racist comment on MSNBC Imus in the Morning. He was talking about a women's college basketball game between Rutgers University and Tennessee. Clearly what Imus said was racist and MSNBC fired him because of what was said.
I bring up Imus to illustrate the clear set of double standards at play here. Imus lost his job because he made racist comments as he should have. Don Lemon, Bakari Sellers, and Tara Setmayer also said some blatantly racist comments. They should lose their jobs over this, but they won't. I seriously doubt if anything will be done to them, which seems typical these days. If a liberal does something illegal, or racist, or even sexually predatory then the media ignore it and it gets swept under the rug. If a conservative even has the hint of an allegation then the media and the liberal lunatics want to destroy them. Enough is enough of this stuff. If you are going to make rules then the rules need to apply to everyone the same, period.
