https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/earth/wildlife/10274114/Sharknado-what-really-happens-to-sharks-in-a-storm.html While Sharknado makes for interesting television it is science fiction. It isn't something that is ever going to happen in real life no matter how bad a hurricane becomes. Yet we have fake news networks that seem to dish up the same line of BS every time a hurricane comes barreling towards the coast. They did it with hurricane Irma, Harvey, and even with Katrina. It is like they have a notebook inside a case that says in case of hurricane break glass. Ok lets see what it says in the notebook, "hurricane could spread radioactive toxic waste. Check. Streets will be running with pig manure. Check Oh and science fiction could actually happen and form a real life Sharknado. Of course all of that will cause an army of mutants to be transformed into real life super heroes, aliens will come down from outer space, and big foot will wash up on shore in the aftermath proving once and for all that he exists.

Hurricanes are scary enough without the hype and the attempts to politicize the event. People have their entire lives disrupted, and sometimes lose everything. It is sad that we have people trying to figure out how to profit off of their potential pain and loss instead of working to be a part of the solution. The people of Virginia and the Carolinas deserve better. Let's put aside the petty politics, quit trying to foment panic with science fiction, and pull together to help people as a nation after this storm finally subsides. Also say a prayer for people in the hurricane's path that God keep them safe. Thank you.
