So far China has raised the tariff on Sorghum, a grain crop that they use to feed livestock. China imported about 1 billion dollars worth of the crop last year and they have only started purchasing the grain from US farmers within the last five years.
Of course the threat of raised tariffs has chicken little Libtards crying that the sky is falling. They claim farmers are losing their farms, and the economy is going to crash and burn any second. I believe that is all total BS scare tactics and I will tell you why.
According to the Department of Agriculture farmers haven't even begun harvesting to two major crops that China imports from the US, those being sorghum and Soybeans.
As you can clearly see from the charts provided by Dept. of Agriculture, farmers won't start harvesting those crops in most states until September. So tell me how they can already be staring at bankruptcy in the face when they haven't even harvested, much less tried to sell their crops? In addition to that the president has promised subsidies to help farmers recover from any losses they may experience.
Here is the deal America already lost the trade war. We lost it decades ago. Furthermore, the leadership of the past has ignored the fact that America has been trading with losses of about a trillion dollars a year average, because of the poor trade deals negotiated by incompetent nincompoops and sold out by globalists that hate America. The fact that Trump is trying to do anything about this problem is amazing. If he succeeds then the entire country will benefit from global trade made through fair and equitable trade. If he fails we can't be any worse off because the nations of the world are already taking us to the cleaners.
