Laura Loomer an investigative journalist that was recently permanently banned from both Twitter and Facebook has chained herself to the front door of Twitter Headquarters in New York City. Loomer was banned for criticizing the antisemitic remarks of Minnesota Democrat Representative Ilhan Omar. It is unclear whether Twitter and Facebook banned her accounts because of an antisemitic bias or because of a conservative bias. Both social media platforms have come under fire for their censorship of conservatives.
Laura Loomer has also recently joined a class action lawsuit against the tech giants for their bias and mistreatment of conservatives in recent months. Laura placed posters on the wall to demonstrate the double standard of Twitter which allows the hate speech of Liberals and Muslims to continue without any repercussions. The posters showed a Tweet from Louis Farakan making anti semitic remarks in his twitter feed next to her own statement which got her banned for criticizing the antisemitic comments of Ilhan Omar.
Police arrived on the scene and forced people filming Loomer's peaceful protest and exercise of her first amendment rights to free speech. They then cut the handcuffs and arrested Laura Loomer and took her to jail thus violating her right to peaceful protest. They also tore down her posters.
