The Clear Political Bias of Google

Google has denied that they redirect people's searches. It has become fairly common knowledge that they do so. Recently I heard that if you punch in the word idiot into Duck duck go and then into google that you would see some eye opening results. Above is the result of that experiment.

Clearly on DuckDuckgo I got the kind of results that you would expect, but on Google it was all a bunch of ads bashing President Donald Trump. I decided to continue the experiment by punching "The Second Amendment" into the two search engines.

Google's search engine connects you to a bunch of liberal websites that are all anti-second amendment. While duck duck go sends you to information about the second amendment including links to the the constitution. That actually makes sense being as the thing being searched is part of the constitution.

I decided to punch in the word "Ice" next and this is what I got from Google.

But when I punch the same word into Duck duck go this is what I found. So some of the same information showed up on Duck duck go, but they didn't just automatically assume that all a person wants to see is politics about ice. Within the search there was actually stuff about ice cream and well actual ice, which seem obvious since that is the word that I was searching.

Finally I decided to type in the words "Catholic church". On Google I found this proving that Google has an anti-Christian bias and bigotry.

On Duck duck go I found this. Again there is information there about the church scandal that is prominent in the news right now, but it isn't the only information that they provide. They have information about what the Catholic church is and how to find a church in your area within their search. That seems like obvious information to provide considering that I was searching for the words "Catholic Church."

In contrast I decided to do a search for the word "Islam" on Google. It was no surprise to me that they simply provided the definition and information about where to find a mosque in your area within the search results. There were no mentions of scandals involving Islam, like the compound recently found in New Mexico where they were training children to be terrorists. Duck Duck go had similar results so I didn't bother put up the redundant image.

Given the results of my short experiment it is obvious to me that Google is biased against the conservatives, patriots, and Christians. It is very sad that the primary search engine that has a near monopoly on search technology has decided to play partisan politics and religious bigotry. That is why I personally have switched all of my search usage to duck duck go. I hope that you try my experiment for yourself. Let me know if you find any interesting
